The 2013 Google Nexus 7 is now on pre-order at Best Buy starting at $227. Google Nexus 7 is undoubtedly an adult tablet which you can consider as one of the best tablets for kids. It’s lightweight and much cheaper than the iPad mini which most people consider as the iPad for kids.
What makes the second generation Nexus 7 even more attractive to parents is it now has parental controls. You can ow set-up multiple users with restricted profile options for each user. This enable the parents to create individual profile for each child with only the apps you want them to access.
The new version of Nexus 7 now comes with a 5 megapixels back camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera. Hopefully this 2nd generation Google Nexus 7 will not inherit its predecessor’s crash and lag problems.
