The Amazon Fire Phone is a phablet, a mobile device which combine the function of a smartphone and a tablet. Obviously, this is not a device designed for kids but I’m sure a lot of parents would want their hands on this very first smartphone from Amazon. The Fire Phone will be available starting July 25, 2014, priced at $199 for 32GB memory. According to Amazon, the Fire Phone is the only smartphone with the Dynamic Perspective, Firefly Technology and the Amazon Mayday customer support.

Exclusive Features of Amazon Fire Phones

Dynamic Perspective is a custom-designed sensor system that responds to how you hold, view and move your phone. This feature lets you peek in maps for ratings, take on the point of view of characters in games and move your head as if you’re inside the phone. This cool feature also lets you use short using one-hand gestures.

The Firefly Technology recognizes over 240,000 movies and TV episodes, printed text on posters, magazines, and business cards, and over 70 million products which you can order on Amazon from your Fire Phone.

The Mayday button was introduced y Amazon in its Kindle Fire HDX tablets with goal of providing tech support response in 15 seconds or less. By pressing the Mayday button, an Amazon expert will appear to help you with technical concerns via video. You can see the Amazon expert but you are not visible to them.
